Ornit Barkai

Ornit is an independent  documentary filmmaker whose cinematographic works offer intergenerational, multicultural perspectives on narratives of social memory and memorialization in a variety of genres and formats. Her films have screened locally and internationally, in festivals, museums, universities, schools, conferences and other public venues. A former broadcast journalist with extensive international television and radio experience, she creates digital content for multiple platforms, including traditional, new and social media. She often presents and lectures on themes of media, gender, culture and identity.
